You want to be light and a swimmer
in the dark sea, inebriated:
then give it the drop to drink,
where you looked at yourself at night,
the wine of your soul in your eye.
The sea is darker now, inebriated:
darker and heavier – as stone!
You want to be heavy too and roll,
in the petrified eye, the wine.
Leggero vuoi essere e un nuotatore
nel mare oscuro, ebbro:
dagli allora da bere la goccia,
dove ti sei specchiato di notte,
nell’occhio il vino della tua anima.
Più scuro ora il mare, ebbro:
più scuro e più pesante – roccia!
Pesante vuoi essere anche tu e rotolare,
nell’occhio impietrito, il vino.
