Hermann Hesse (1877-1962)

Hermann Hesse was a German poet and novelist. He wrote several poems about love, self-consciousness and spirituality. He received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1946. Siddhartha (1951) and Steppenwolf (1927) are among his masterpieces. 

Lord Byron (1788-1824)

Lord Byron was one of the major English Romantic poets. He was infamous for his unconventional lifestyle and several sex scandals. He joined to the Greek War of Independence, and died at a young age from a fever in Greece.
