Silence reigns so deep among the stars.
No sound of word spreads,
nor songs of extraordinary birds.
But up above, among the stars – where we are
celestial body – there we hear
 the inmost rustling which makes roses blossom.

E’ così fondo il silenzio tra le stelle.
Non suono di parola si propaga
nè canto di uccelli prodigiosi.
Ma lassù, tra le stelle, dove siamo
 un astro ricreato, è che si ode
 l’intimo fruscio che apre le rose.
