By now so sick of waiting, I’m by now
so beaten by the pain (by now the burn

come sta sordo anch’egli al suo tornare.
Così col pianto, ond’ho gli occhi miei molli,
fo pietose quest’onde e questo mare;
ed ei si vive lieto ne’ suoi colli.
