Altro non ho che la disperazione
e una confusa voglia di sparire:
nessuna voce che venga a chiamarmi
nel pozzo vuoto in cui sto rannicchiato.
E’ morte questa che già mi rinchiude.
La memoria è disfatta. Ci fu un tempo
(a chi appartenne se niente rimane?)
quando attendevo che tu ritornassi
e pativo, chiamavo, e tu apparivi
molto ridendo di quel mio penare.
