il volto non visto, la voce non udita.
Il cuore che mai –
mai finora – ahimé! –
ha risposto alla mia voce.
Da qualche parte deve esserci vicino o lontano,
al di là della terra e del mare, invisibile:
oltre la luna vagabonda, oltre la stella
che ogni notte l’insegue.
Da qualche parte deve esserci, vicino o lontano,
appena tra una siepe e un muro:
appena sotto le ultime foglie
dell’anno che muore
cadute su una zolla inverdita.
